Room Ballot Motion

Motion passed with no opposition. The room database on the website will be updated and completed by the relevant JCR Officers, as soon as possible.

Hockey Varsity Motion

Motion passed with no opposition. The JCR will donate £200 to the university hockey teams to allow them to travel to and play in the varsity match. In return, we’ll be allowed a half page advert in the match programme.

Oscar’s New Suit Motion

Motion passed with no opposition. The JCR will spend £320 on a new tortoise suit for Oscar.

Charities Levies Motion

Motion passed with 38 in favour and 3 abstentions. Two amendments were made to the motion: the money remaining in the Campaigns Fund won’t be distributed at the next GM, as originally stated in the motion, but any excess will be given out at the end of Trinity after normal applications for it have been made. As well as this, the limit of a single claim will be raised for this year to £250 (from £150) in order to use the money up.
